8x10in acrylic on canvas. I wrecked this one the first time I tried it. so I did it over again. much better this time.
Really wonderful !
Nice! How did you do that? I want to try it too
its done in layers. first I poured the sky and ground. then I put in the trees. I used the eraser end of a pencil to scratch the barky look and to do the branches. the point of the pencil to do the smaller twigs. then I poured the dark for the oval and scratched that around a bit. then I pulled the branches through the oval. voila. every step gives you another chance to wreck it. and the paint can get too thick and ooze away on you. give it a shot. start simple and work your way to more layers and complexity. its a nice place to go when you get sick of bashing into the wall on the abstract color field stuff.
