44-PAGE GRAPHIC NOVEL
Hi! My name is J.S. Earls writer for the MEG graphic novel and this campaign is for a graphic novel I’m creating with artist Brit Sellers (aka GovScoffer). To create the multi-textured art for our creepy cool comic, Brit uses a variety of pencils, ink and paint and we’re running a little low on supplies. So, our first goal is to replenish his art supplies and our second will be to finish ANTROPOLIS Volume One and get it printed.
CREATURE CREATIONS
I’ve always loved anthropomorphic tales. Everything from Brian Jacques’ Redwall series, Ben Dunn’s Mighty Tiny and Animal Farm to The Lion King, Watership Down, The Secret of Nimh and Mouse Guard. So when I had the idea for an ANT-lantis of the sands, I knew I had to do it. In my 12+ years as a professional comic book writer, I’ve often worked with wonderful veteran artists, but there’s something special about working with hungry, passionate, up and coming artists…especially when their style seems so tailer-made for the project like this.
