I do not think it matters that it is a speed painting, you make a not to apologize for not spending a lot of time on it. Your technique is unique, impressionism space art. The detail is not there but what is important is the feeling associated with it.

Most space art is hung up on the fine detail, making it look realistic while being completely unreal.

I like these more.
wow you are really good. I was wondering. If i sent you one of my pics if you could color it in for me cause my parents won't let me get photoshop.

Try GIMP, it's not as good as Photoshop, but it's free and easy to use.
