Here's my illustration of an older, LOTR-era Bilbo from Fantasy Flight Games' upcoming Lord of the Rings Living Card Game, which you can read all about here:

On a more technical note, this painting taught me just how harsh the little nuances in dark areas become when viewed on uncalibrated monitors. The dark areas used to have more modulation in them, but after looking at it on the computers at school I decided to tone them all down. To pretty much nothing. One day there will be calibrated monitors for everyone, shed I will shed a tear of joy.

Just excellent! I really love pictures of Tolkien's chacaracers which don't copy the movie! And that will be the one of my favorites for now I guess.

It's got the right colours and style, what can I say about Bilbo though? he looks really dashing with his hair (even for 111 years old)
