Finally it's done! Gosh, I've been drawing this one llike forever. Mostly thanks to my lovely tablet which once again refused to cooperate with me. Don't know why but it seems to believe that the presure doesn't matter... And it really hates my laptop (and vice versa I'm afraid)...
But never mind.
It's Toshizo Hijikata from the Hakuouki series.
I admit that I wanted to draw a Hakuouki characters since the first time I've played it, which was like... more than a year ago?
I'm not really into otome games, 'cause usually they are only about the oh-so-sweet-romance and the hell lot of pretty-shallow guys hunting for the little kawai heroine without a brain (or at least that's how I see it, sorry if it offends anyone). So I've been really, really shocked that an otome game could be so... so awesome. Characters have, well, characters, they're not just empty shells shouting out their love for the heroine (I still hate Chizuru, though...) and the story is just epic. It's "a bit" different from the real Shinsengumi story, I know, but nonetheless it's really well told.
And I love Yone Kazuki arts so yeah- it's pure epicness.
Hm, probably it's better for me to stop babling about it. If you don't know this game you definitely should fix that. Go and play, and play it now!
Though I never heard of this guy, until I started playing Bakumatsu Shinsengumi on my ipod. He's my first date (I fell in love with him when I read his mini-bio) - It looks like I will have to play Hakuouki.
Well, he was a famous historical figure, so he tends to show in many anime/manga/games ;]
Hakuoki is a really nice game (and anime, if you're interested). It is an otome but what I find rare for otome games, the plot is really interesting as well as characters. And Yone Kazuki's art is the best
There's too many good drawings.
I want to comment them all.
But I'd just be saying "that's so cool" twenty times.
So now I'm at a loss for ideas.
Do you see my problem here?
I'm not good at doing constructive comments.
(też czekam na Haradę ;])
Ohjoju, dziękować :3
Coś tu klub oczekiwania zaraz mi się założy, chyba faktycznie muszę się wziąć za tych dwóch xD
I LOVE THE SHINSENGUMI.
Oh my, thank you!
Hehe, Okita and Harada are next on my list-to-do
But first I need to fix my tablet...
