The Search for Life

Is there life anywhere out there in the universe? An astronomer discovers a strange structure; a possible message from an alien civilization?

A painting inspired by my research in astrophysics. We modelled the spectra of Earth-like planets that are covered by plants. This was a gift to my supervisor.
