wip, the battlestar Poseidon was first developed as a test bed design based on adding a hanger onto a ship which was also desigend for frontline fighting. . while being developed from a joint effort between vergon and sagritaron. the design proved ineffective as a warship , since it carried limited protection and lacked appropriate fire control systems this would later cause these classes to suffer extensive casualties in the first cylon war. which sadly killed off every ship in this class.
