Wow, at the end I managed to finish this pet project of mine, consisting in drawing a black lion sitting royally under the sunset of Africa. And with only 5 coloured pencils to boot!
Unfortunately, I lost most of the set a long ago given that I have them for more than two decades, and they still stand the test of time by giving Crayola and other economic colouring pencil sets a run for their money. Jokes aside, these pencils are incredibly good, whether it’s blending without hassles, sharpening just fine, and having rich and vibrant colours. But, like other student-grade colouring pencils, it waxes very quickly once you use them to layer different colours. Overall, a nice and old set.
Link included above for those that want to buy it.
Really gorgeous traditional piece.
