When it comes to storing/deleting old artwork from your gallery, I have always maintained you should just remove a handful of the really worst stuff, independent of time instead of just scrapping everything from some point back.
If you do that you're not being critical, you're probably just being vain and selfish. you're not looking and evaluating why they're bad or cringey, all you care about is not being embarrassed by them instead of looking at why they suck, which ones suck the most and least, and what you can learn from them. Maybe even others can learn from it, either as what to do or what not to do. That's always been a huge motivator for me, look at the garbage demos of your favorite bands, its inspiring to see how they started out just like you.
I've always felt having even the earliest stuff back there, well at least someone can still enjoy it if their quality threshold is that low, it's better than it just NOT being there for there most part. really I get more annoyed by cringey dialogue or descriptions.
If you told me this sucked nowadays I'd laugh and say "go tell 2013 me that". It's still to this day probably the only inflation of that particular NPC, you think I'm gonna reduce the coverage to 0?

Getting screwed on eBay lately...
This urged me to look back at my very first submission
Yeah, it makes me cringe, but hey, it's nice to look back on your old crappy art and compare it to your modern art to see how much you've improved over the years.
It really makes you feel like you're evolving as an artist.
Yea, it's cringy, but I'm not at all ashamed of it
