This painting is a continuation of a series based on a friend Ian's dream, where a red aeroplane flew around a mountain with a boat growing out of it.
In my mind the aeroplane turned into the woman in the red cloak and inspiration was born.
The title says it all the woman in the red cloak is in deep contemplation.
I as the painter have no idea what has captured her in this way as sometimes the muse takes over the art.
