Claustraphobia

This painting started off as a lighter painting.
However whilst painting I was interrupted several times by a flatmate who wouldn't leave me to paint as she had relationship issues.

As time went on with the unsolicited conversation I was increasingly aware of the space I needed to paint.
More and more paint was added and the painting became as busy and cramped as I felt at the time.
