Blossom Mountain

This painting is a continuation of a series based on a friend Ian's dream, where a red aeroplane flew around a mountain with a boat growing out of it.

In my mind the aeroplane turned into the woman in the red cloak and inspiration was born.

The mountain with the face symbolises the unity between man and the earth.

All organic life forms are carbon based and this painting represents the joy of the discovery of this fact.

The tree and the house represent knowledge growth and security.

The colours represent a heightened awareness of the beauty of nature.
