My fave is the first sims. I absolutly loved it even though always ended up killing my sims bc everything burned down xD I dont know if it was in the other sims games as well, but I LOVED doing stuff on that chemical table, i remember that you could get evil doppelgangers walking around if you drank it. AND THE EXPACKS OMG. Still remember playing so much with that magic expac and these black holes you could buy, oh man nostalgia is taking me over I loved sims 2 aswell, always had a beachhouse with too much CC ahaha xD And the cheat codes where much easier back then. There was so much to cheat and it was awesome for me xD
My cousins go me into the series when I was little when the game first came out XD for some reason every time my sim put her fire place on it would cause a fire XD Never played much with the magic expansions, but in sims 3 I think a chenical lab would either be in supernatural or in university, not too sure though XD
I faintly remember one of those in Sims 3 too, dont know the expac though ;-; I got into the series via a friend of mine who always played it when I was there, god I was like 6 when i got my own sims game xD
I got back into the Sims last year. I started with 2 because it was on sale and the one I remembered playing when I was younger. After playing that one to death, I found out there was 4 and got that one and eventually most of the expansion packs... I love 4. There are so many more details that you can customize, not to mention the fact that they are continually updating it with more expansion packs. One of my sims runs a full bakery, which I can't wait to turn into a full restaurant once "Dine Out" comes out on June 7th.
Have you tried sims 3 yet? The game has a lot of cool expansions as well~ But I wish they didn't make so many stuff and game packs for Sims 4, I'm more interested in the expansions XD That would be cool, Dine Out will defiantly be the best game pack as of yet
Sorry for taking so long to reply. Business, laziness, etc. But I kind of skipped 3 and went from 2 to 4. But I kind of like the stuff packs, some of them have some really good stuff like Dine Out. I'm loving Dine Out. My main Sim runs both a Bakery and a fancy restaurant. They're both so much fun when I have my sim work either.
do you know the excuse? they say that all these extras are very difficult to add in the game, like pools or cars, but they have to add free the pools because of the mad fans. The real creators of the game is Maxis, and EA had ruined them, now they are fired, Maxis is history... RIP
*also miss the sims 2/3 tombs and cemetery... I loved to do cemeteries!!!!*
For nostalgia reasons, The Sims 2. But The Sims 4 is suuuuper fun, I bought the game and the Get To Work expansion over my reading week and I played it for like 10 hours straight for a few days I think XD
Even sims with the highest retail skills suck. For example, I have a bakery. Every time I hire a sim they just sit and talk with other sims while there are sims that need to be rung up and display cases that need to be cleaned/restocked. They just talk even if I specifically tell them to clean. Hiring others was just a waste of my sims money.
I own them all, but TS2 will always be my favorite.
Side note, in Sims 2, Cassandra and Don were engaged. Yet in Sims 4, Don is a young adult, and Cassandra is a teen... very awkward imo just had to say that, it's been eating me alive and nobody knows what the heck I'm talking about when I talk about sims XD
TS2 had the best game play imo, although I have trouble playing it due to the graphics XD
... that is werid... Don is dating the mom of the 2 girls (I can't think of their names XD) and she wasn't in the Sims 2 game at all, and Cassandra would be a young adult and Don would be a regular adult...
Yeah, I love it because of the gameplay and interactions. I play them all (as well as Medieval) so I can't say I dislike any. Sims 3 lags like all hell if you don't lower your graphics settings all the way, and Sims 4 isn't complete so I can't judge it too hard right now. I do get bored with sims 4 the easiest despite my 600+ hours logged on it lmao
In 2, he was lovers with Dina, Nina, Cassandra, and a maid who I never paid attention to. In 4, it's the sisters and Katrina(?), who I never looked into either. It is weird in the sense that in the sims 2 (if you didn't have university life), there was no young adult stage. So Cassandra and Don were both adults, it made it normal. But in Sims 4, they make it feel like Don is just a little bit of a pedo if he goes after Cassandra XD
Even with good computers it still has trouble with Sims 3 ;A; as of now Sims 3 is probably my favorite out of all of them, hopefully once more expansions come out for Sims 4 it'll be better (I think part of not being able to play it long compared to sims 2 and 3 is the small worlds.. they could make then so much bigger due to it not being an open world...)
True XD I don't know why they didn't make them all teens (Dina,Nina, Don, and Cassandra) it would made more sense... but I'm pretty sure Bella is a young adult so that's why the made Cassandra a teen, but still
Yeah that is true xD ! It's really good its similar to the Sims life stories if you played them (I have xD) you fallow a story which is more of quest's. The only thing you have as of need for them is eating and sleeping. They do get mood-lets if you give them baths. Also they can have babies the pregnancy is quick and the babies grow up quick into children and when your main hero dies they become their replacement. Once you completed your BIG MAIN objective you can have freedom to do what ever with or with out responsibility (I prefer with responsibility cause it does get boring) or keep on doing more quests.
