WHOO. It turns out I may be making it to the Hampton Classic! I got my dates mixed up so there's a possibility, if we leave Vermont on Friday morning, that I can get back to spend the day at the Classic on Saturday. With my camera, of course. This is great news, as the whole trip out to the end of the island has become something of a tradition among me in my friends. It's not for certain, so I'll update when I know it's a go.
Well, dA now lets you do a text blurb for your ID, so stock info has moved there. I've decided to use my journal to let you know about upcoming opportunities for pictures, etc.
The horse I was leasing was sold in December so I haven't been to the barn since. I'm going to try and get some lessons/hack time at this new place that opened near my house, in exchange for chores, but I can't speak to whether that'll work out. In the meantime, I have more photos from the Hampton Classic you can look forward to, as well as some good driving/saddleseat shots from the UVM Morgan Farm's Open House, this past summer. My two big shows are coming up in Aug
Using My Stock
I'm not picky. You can use my photos for sims, manipulation, whatever you'd like. I usually take my pictures with simmers in mind, but I like I said: I'm not picky. I do appreciate credits back to me, however, and whatever you do, don't claim MY work as your own. Other than that, there are no real restrictions. I would love to hear that you've found some use for my stock, though!
Pretty soon I hope to be organizing my photos in a list here in my journal, sorted by discipline, color, and breed (if I know the horse's breed).
