One of the most favored beading, or jewelry supply must be cabochons. Cabochons in all looks, style, gemstones and material. The kind of cabochons I love a lot myself must be the ones that are handmade, using polymer clay. Why? Because each one of them are unique and special in their own way. Not only by making a unique piece of jewelry, you also add a very unique piece into the design.
I can't deny that I too, create my own polymer clay cabochons and sometimes also beads. It's such a relaxing form of craft, and you can really try your own limits when you work with the clay.
Polymer clay exist in many various brands, and some of them are: FIMO, Sculpey, Sculpey III, KATO, Cernit and more. You can find polymer clay pretty much in every of your local crafts store, and a lot of online shops that specializes in crafts also carries them. There are A LOT of free tutorials also out on the web for those who would like to try out this medium
This time I wanted to highlight some of the most gorgeous polymer clay cabochons out on DA.
