My Bio
I'm antisocial and don't really bond with people online - I don't think I'm mean or anything, but I doubt we have anything to talk about, because I am not interesting, and I am a hermit for whom interacting with people is a chore. Don't mind me. /babushka mode

Mostly I just wanted to add some links here.

Okay, so this won't be much of a critique, but I feel qualified to critique words, at least

I really like your choice of font; it stands out and has a weirdly hippy-ish feel, of which I approve.I wasn't sure at first glance if I like the rainbows, but upon further consideration, I do. It's a silly thing to comment on, but I do like the way they work with the words. (Though, it does bother my eye that the one on 'OMG' is in the middle and the one on 'dyke' is significantly lower.) I disapprove of the lower case 'i', but it's a valid stylistic choice.

However, I would really, really take out the 'that'. It breaks the flow of the sentence and I find it extremely jarring. That is almost certainly not how you would say it out loud and it sounds stiff to read it. If you're worried about the alignment, I think that moving the 'my' up a line and letting the word 'girlfriend' space out on its own line to satisfy the justification would actually give it more impact, highlighting the word 'girlfriend' almost like it was italicized. And I really, really hate that 'that', even though I like just abut everything else here.

This concludes your critique.
That sounds terrifying. ^^; But useful. I tried out Colors! and it froze up my tablet, but I watched some of the replays, too... Terrifying, but intriguing.

I have to say thank you for your advice. ^^; It actually means a lot for someone who knows what they're talking about and doesn't have any reason to care about my stuff to take the time.

Wow, that's something I hadn't thought about, or really seen mentioned. I see what you're talking about in your examples, and I'll look at the tutorials you linked for more information. I will work on it, though I know I need a lot of practice. Blending my layers better would definitely be a start ^^; Thank you very much for your help, I appreciate it a lot.

Hello there via

I want to say that this is really visually striking, and has a lot of potential. The gold and black background is probably my favorite part, and the "dragon" symbol stands out well. It's also a very good and original concept, and like the other commenter I like the big sparkly blue eye ^^

For suggestions I'd like to touch on anatomy and technique, since that's my job here.

So, anatomy. Well, first of all, her hand is just backward The thumb should be on the inside. I've done it myself - I could show you at least two pictures where I drew either a hand or a foot inside out and didn't realize until I was done - but it really stands out since her painting is one of the focal points of the picture. There's also a difficulty with proportions I see. I think that her head, shoulders, and bust all look good, but after that she seems to be squashed. I would move her hips/butt down a good chunk, and perhaps shorten her arms. A good rule of thumb is that the elbow should be even with the bottom of the ribcage (about the smallest part of the waist, maybe a little above) and the fingertips should be in the middle of the thigh. Just doing that helps to keep your bodies and limbs all looking like they're part of a whole.

On a positive anatomical note, her face looks really good. The clean details and bright blue eyes echoing the dragon really work.

For technique, there are two things that stand out. The first is that her hair has managed to look kind of stringy because the strokes are kind of jagged, but I think just using thinner brushes and maybe gentler colors (that white line stands out) would solve that. Second is that the dragon's fur looks like the smudge tool. The smudge tool is evil. Actually it's not evil in moderation, but using the brush tool for the primary coloring and smudging for extra wispiness if you want it would give a more pleasing effect usually.

I really like the coloring of the dress. Is that a DA logo in there? I'm a big fan of all the sparkles in this picture (like the background I already mentioned) and I hope I haven't been discouraging. Keep it up.
-He's intentionally skinny, that's no the first time I heard that, but I like it anyway. The moon was also intentional but I think it was a bad idea to make it so big, you're right.

-You'd have to hold a gun to my head to draw Sesshoumaru seme.

-As for "****" it's pulled back, that's where the rope behind him is attached to. That was mostly because of laziness... and not too confident with them...

Thank you for your honesty and liking the hair and color (even if I think the hair is terrible). I'll keep trying.
