As I reflect on 2015, art-wise, I have to say I'm a little disappointed in what I was able to do. Granted, I did draw something every month, but the absolute majority of artwork in 2015 was for someone else. I unfortunately put all of my ideas on the back-burner because I was trying to do work for other people.
I literally only did 4 paintings for myself in 2015.
Gotta do better than that!In 2016, I'm going to have a better balance. I will continue to do commissions and things for other people, but I'm also going to put time into my own personal work. This year, I want to put more focus on scenes. I want to better portray emotions not just in faces, but the whole body. I feel like I did pretty well with that last year, but this new year I want to do better! In my personal work, I'm going back to working on a grander scale!
My first piece for this new year will be a personal one. Then next month, February, I'll open for commissions again and finish the work I owe people.
I'm still healing from my c-section so I'm gonna take it easy at first! But GUYS, GG is back! Watch out for big things from me this year!! Onward, 2016!!
