Twili OC: Tiahra

There's honestly a long history behind the original version of the design featured on the right side of this reference. Last year my friends and I were dealing with the fallout of finally having cut ties with our abuser, and me struggling with feeling safe last summer. Once it was confirmed that my actual neighborhood was safe, I ended up posting my story in a journal for all to read. Others of my friends did the same. Part of my call-out was to warn everyone that my abuser had designs by me and Camara-san that they refused to return, that weren't paid for. In a long series of internet drama on the side with this individual, ultimately they did return all designs. A few of them still have the transfer history on toyhouse to prove the return which is indisputable. That didn't stop them from trying to rip off a couple of the designs however. This twili being one of them.

Eventually Camara decided to give me a chance to revive this design. After proper payment, the design belongs to me. For our own comfort to separate the design from previous trauma, I updated the overall color palette (literally sliding the hue changer, so it's still in the same place on the wheel, just different shade), changed body patterns on her, and gave her a second outfit which is the one featured in the middle! Both the new outfit and the old one are part of her character, whom Camara and I agreed to name Tiahra and make a daughter of our OCs, Tohrun and Lasyra ^^

I say the above to put it out there of course that as this design has been ripped off before, to be aware that it does indeed belong to me. My abuser has a history of ripping off design and story elements from mine and my friends' OCs, so I honestly won't be surprised if they decide to be spiteful and rip from my character here again. Should anyone see a rip-off of Tiahra anywhere, don't go after the person. Just focus on my character as she's the original and knock-offs by said person are ultimately inconsequential in the long run. Hopefully someday they'll make their own designs without trying to copy people they hate and point fingers at for all their issues.

All of that aside, I do hope you enjoy Tiahra ;v; she means a lot to me and my friends and we all want to see her succeed as a character from now on. I have a lot of work to do to draw her and make up for the old damage done. Tiahra is featured on artfight as well and I'm hoping she receives the attention she deserves
