Trade: Ganondorf x Hylia

This is an art trade for Evelyn-Jade on twitter/instagram It's been a slow-going painting, but I've enjoyed the process and I'm so glad to finally share it!

This painting features EvelynJade's version of Ganondorf and Hylia, with my interpretation of their designs. Now I will say, someone I no longer associate with has been going around telling people that I never started this painting, in an effort to dirty my name as an artist. I trusted this person with screenshots throughout the process, and they watched me stream several times. Despite also knowing that EvelynJade has seen WIP updates along the way (which were sent on both instagram and discord), my abuser has been fixated on convincing people I never intended to finish anything and has tried to tell people that I refuse to draw Ganondorf with anyone but my own OC. I do NOT hate other character ships with Ganondorf, regardless of having my own OC ship with him. I have screenshots given to me that show these lies were spread. Setting the record straight: No matter how long it takes, I ALWAYS finish promised works. And if something happens where I cannot, I ALWAYS discuss an alternative with the person I owe, period. Paintings take time, and some paintings require more energy to finish than others. This one took more time because I didn't always have energy and I wanted it to be perfect as much as possible.

That being said, I do love how it turned out and I'm thrilled to be able to paint again without as much stress in my life. Huge thank you to my best friends that sat with me on discord to hang out with me while I worked on finishing this over the last month! The impact of whom you surround yourself with makes a huge difference in both energy and inspiration <3
