I finished this one a few days ago, but it's the last of the remakes for Jynzou aside from the few nsfw pieces I'm almost done with for him. Originally I had only done the sketch for the old version of Jynzou here, but with the remake I went all out. Resketched a lot of Jynzou, fixed perspective on his desk and drew in a proper captain's chair. Then while doing research for styles of captain's quarters, I learned that some might actually have an alcove bed. That gave me the idea for the full background, which I was able to use a prevous piece as a reference point. So of course, Revienne being the flirt she is, quietly teasing Jynzou while he's trying to get some work done

Honestly though as the second full piece since my surgery (first being this one) that was done from sketch to finish without recycling a previously drawn background, I'm very pleased with it. Though it's not quite a painting yet, it's a step toward being able to paint again. Overall I'll continue drawing in this style while I work up my elbow strength to paint
