Description

So I adopted this design from MeowTownPolice, loving the color palette so much. For a little while I couldn't quite nail down a story idea for him, until Camara-san mentioned to me that he looks like a dad. Immediately I got so many ideas for him and ended up drawing him right away. Because look at that face, that is a dad :lmao: I loved him so much I even put him up for art fight 2022! He was included in a cute mass attack, to my surprise ^^

Story-wise as it turns out, Rhukas is a traveling merchant who left central Hyrule when tensions started climbing. Worried about his wife and daughter, they traveled and didn't settle down again for many years. His daughter, H'anako, marries my boy Ginta. And honestly I just love knowing that Ginta has a father-in-law who can give him dad-advice. Ginta definitely needed more family after everything he's been through with the Yiga clan ;v;
