Description

It's taken me so many years to finally finish reworking an old painting from 2014. Old watchers will remember it, where Ovonre (his old design) was flirting with another zora. There were a lot of painful memories attached to that original painting, so several times over the years since I've tried again and again to revisit it, only to give up because I didn't have the emotional strength to do it. And back in 2020 for my last attempt at replacing characters, I was close to done but not happy with how Ovonre looked. I still didn't have the energy to revisit the painting again right away.

So starting just days ago I got to work painting Ovonre with Camara-san's beautiful Saidah ;v; It was a wonderful experience. I got to stream it privately for my friends and be encouraged rather than put down. Overall it came together quicker than I expected it would. Just focusing on how much I love the characters and approaching with my textured painting style made it easy ^^ The background was overhauled so it's not exactly the same as the original from 2014, but honestly? This version is so much better

A huge thank you to my friends, Camara-san, Webmegami, Lumenvel, Snowfleet, BlueGreml1n, Saphitea and LexiNova143: All of you encouraged me in one way or another this week as I worked on this painting and I couldn't have done it without you ;v; thank you so much ;v;

This is still an absolutely phenomenal job. Look at the flow of the water, the mist coming from the cascading falls, a bight a hopeful background, along with two tender loving characters.

The dynamic between these two are just *chefs kiss*.
