I've been working a lot with my girl Tiahra lately, and that comes with of course finding connections to other OCs Someone that will treat her with respect 
Sitril is a big softy, one I recently adopted from my bestie, Camara-san. And yes, while I do love making OC ships with my friends, on occasion I like to focus on ships of my own characters, even platonic ones.
This piece in particular holds meaning for me. To me, Tiahra is walking away from a dark past her design used to face. She takes Sitril's hand as he offers friendship. The sky was done to symbolize how the moon can be seen in the sky as the sun is setting Sitril and Tiahra very much feel like twilight meeting the moonlight. They're not shipped romantically, though I did consider that at first. They each have their own loves while also supporting each other as best as friends are able ^^
So very thankful for my amazing friends as they continuously encourage and inspire me to heal from old wounds, work with my OCs and stories, and feel excited to share my work with all of you
