Garden Love

I started working on this piece back in April, life happened and then I picked it up again over the last few days. Finished just last night, and I'm honestly so thrilled with the final result My approach with the background was different than I've done in the past, as I wasn't entirely sure how I wanted it to look. So I put down blobs of color until I got a composition I loved. Then I painted the actual background with those colors over the painted sketch Friends of mine can attest since they watched me stream it to them ^^ (will eventually get back to streaming publicly outside discord lmao) It was nice to go back to my traditional art roots with my painting process ^^

This is yet another piece, another step in my healing process with Cetriss ;v; Taking control of my character again has been so freeing with all the sketches I've done, all the finished art I've done so far, and I've even managed to write him again. But painting him I've found is quite relaxing, even if there was a little bit of crying in artist just trying to figure out where the markings lay on his robes while he's kneeling like this. Unea is just so short next to him, so it felt softer to have him kneel. Camara-san and I just love them so much together ;v;
