Happy Hannukah by AnimeInMyPocket Happy Hannukah by AnimeInMyPocket
I'm not 100% sure on how Hannukah works and it's the worst menorah in history, but I wanted to try it out and I like the lighting so why not? (I love the christmas outfits and will draw them always!)
(Don't look at Olaf too long it's hideous and I'm never drawing him again. > < Why is such a simple design so hard to draw?)
Happy Hannukah to those who celebrate it - please feel free to educate me in the comments!

Not sure if you know this, but Olaf's Frozen Adventure actually had a (very brief) Hanukkah scene during the song "That Time of Year". Apart from a Jewish family and a dreidel with real Hebrew letters, a more "commonly accepted" Menorah can be seen in the background. It was even shown in the original trailer, and I expected it to be a proper scene with Olaf and the Jews interacting. They didn't even get a speaking role.

Also, don't worry about your Olaf. Anyone can draw him, and he looks good here too (apart from his carrot nose, which looks a bit too small and not quite long enough).

Oh, I did see that. ^^"" I thought there'd be a bigger scene too, so I felt obliged to draw a little something.
(I used a front facing reference for Olaf, so that could be why his nose looks smaller.)

Yes, they promoted it as if it played a major part, but a few months later the feature came out and I found it online (thanks to Evan Sampson™ [his name is not a trademark, but he did add the symbol]), only to find the scene lasted less than a second and was in a forgettable song I didn't really like (in fact, I thought it was removed in the finished product until then). At least one tradition I'm familiar with was represented (even though it did have inevitable problems).

On another note, there's a glaring error in the piece itself I should've pointed out when it was new: Elsa seems to be lighting the candles incorrectly; the Shamash (the middle one) is used to light the other eight, not the one she's holding. It's easy to see the reasons for your statements in the description. Errors aside, it's a neat concept and you brought it to life in a nice manner.

Gee. Thanks.
I feel like Disney was caught in a catch 22 with it - if they didn't include it they would recieve abuse for not being inclusive and when they do they get called historically inaccurate (in a fantasy kingdom??) I don't know - I feel like whatever Disney do they receive criticism, especially when it's Frozen related so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
