You sat there, depressed. You were in your room, drawings on paper and unfinished stories on paper were scattered everywhere in your room, making you look like a workaholic. But you weren't, really. You just have tons of free time to do things and no one visited that much. You didn't even bother to set up a Christmas tree or lights.
But today, on Christmas, no one greeted you 'Merry Christmas' or 'Happy Holidays' or what not. You had a phone of course, cell and home, but no one called or texted you. It was like you were being ignored. No, not even your best friends. Not Alfred, Arthur, Gilbert, Feliciano.
You lived in a small single family house, that had enough money to buy and pay for the electricity and water bill. You manage to make a living as a [job 1] and [job 2], in which they paid you well. You didn't live with your parents or siblings. They died.
On this night.
You could remember the scene perfectly. It was four years ago. You sat in back of the car with your older brother, Erwin.
He inherited your mom's hair, which was perfect blond and you took your dad's side and got [h/c] hair. Your brother had blue eyes and you had [e/c]. Erwin worked a lot, for he signed up for the military. But whenever he had time, he would play with you. You cherished the time when he did.
You sat next to him in the back of the car while your parents were in the front. Your dad was driving and your mom was in the passengers seat. Erwin was looking outside the window, watching the cars pass by your car. You leaned on his shoulder, you were tired.
You were all going to a Christmas party in which you were invited to by Yao Wang's parents. Yao was a friend you made at school. Your parents happened to know his and they knew each other quite well.
The light turned green. Your dad pressed on the gas pedal and the car started to move forward. There was a honking sound that came from a car. You looked out the window and saw a car in the distance. Your brother's eyes followed as well and you saw his blue eyes widened.
"What's wrong, Erwee?" you asked, using a nickname you made up for him.
He turned to you as the car started to get nearer. On the last seconds, he hugged you. The glass shattered and a sound of metal crashing erupted in the air. Your eyes widened and saw that Erwin had received a large cut on his forehead and it started to bleed. There was more honking from cars and you felt the car get hit again and the car swerved into a pole. The front of the car scrunched up and your parents got full impact from it. The pole the car hit then started to creek. It fell and on the last minute, Erwin pushed you out of the car. Your palms got scraped on the rock right below you. Blood ran down your face and you started to tear up when the car started to flame up.
"We love you," Erwin screamed at you before the pole crushed his body and everyone else in the car.
You could hear a line from the song come from a song coming from your neighbor's house.
It's the most wonderful time of the year!
You rolled your eyes and pulled the blankets over your head. It was NOT! I repeat, not the most wonderful time.
A knock from the front door echoed in your house. You growled and rolled over in your bed. It was probably those people who sang carols to you when you open the door. You watched TV shows about it before and the owners of the house seemed slightly annoyed of it. And of course, being in is mood today, you didn't need the carols. The knocks continued to sound throughout the house.
Your eye twitched. Like hell you were answering the door. You got up and sat at your desk, turning on your computer. You logged into your user and went on Youtube. Seeing Pewdiepie's channel, you smiled a little and clicked one of his videos.
"Hey bros, my name is-"
You heard a crashing sound come from down stairs. Your eyes widened and you quickly dived onto your carpet and covered your head. You looked up after a few seconds and saw that nothing was going to crash into you. You quickly jumped up and grabbed your frying pan Elizabeta. She taught you a few frying pan skills, for the perverts and idiots that tried to do things to you.
You pushed open your door quietly and swung your pan in your hand carefully. You could hear footsteps and voices coming from downstairs.
"That wasn't really necessary, you know."
"But she wouldn't answer the door!"
Did those carolers seriously break into your house, just to sing?! You growled and quietly walked down the stairs. You left the lights off and the only light was from the sunshine coming in from the windows. You jumped the last step. You saw a shadow beside you, and quickly swung your pan in the person's face.
"Oh, sh*t!" The body crumpled to the floor. The man covered his face and groaned in pain. "Dammit [Name], what the hell was that for?!"
"A-Alfred?!" you exclaim quietly.
"The one and only hero!"
You rolled your eyes and helped him up from the door. You looked at him and saw that his face was turning red. "I-I'm sorry, I thought you were one of those robbers or something."
"Nope, just me and his sidekicks," Alfred said with a chuckle. He gestured behind him and you saw all your other friends. You saw Arthur, Yao, Ivan, Francis, Matthew, Ludwig, Feliciano, Kiku, Lovino, Gilbert, Toni Lukas, Tino, Berwald, Mathias, Emil, Elizabeta, Roderich, Toris, Eduard, Ravis, Heracles, and Feliks.
"Sidekicks?!" Arthur exclaimed as he held up a fist. You could tell he wanted to punch his brother.
"I think I should be the lead, da?" Ivan said as he put a hand on Alfred's shoulder. You saw Alfred shiver and nod quickly.
"Anyways, I heard crashing," you said.
Ludwig pointed to your front door with his gloved hands. Your eyes followed and saw that your door was knocked in and the wooden door was on the floor. Wood surrounded the door nearby. "Zhe dummkoph Alfred decided to break open your door just because you veren't answering."
"Alfred," you said dangerously low as the depressing aura around you increased.
"D-don't worry, [Name]! I-I'll fix the door later!" Alfred said nervously and backed away slightly.
"Iz somezing wrong, frau?" Gilbert asked as you felt Gilbert lean on his arm on your shoulder. You leaned away from him slightly when you saw his face close to yours.
"No," you answered quickly.
"Don't lie to me, frau," Gilbert whispered into your ear and turned your body to him. You looked at him surprised and he hugged you tightly. "The atmosphere is gloomy."
"Yay! Free hugs!" Feli exclaimed and you felt him hug you as well.
"I-I'm sorry," you murmured.
"Hey [Name]," Elizabeta chirped suddenly. "May I use your bazhroom?"
"Yeah," you said and you saw Elizabeta smile and then walk pass you. You heard her whisper something to Gilbert and Gilbert let go of you and you saw he has a fearful expression on his face.
Feli let go of you and looked at you happily. "Buon natale!" he greeted happily. You nodded.
"Thanks," you said. Quietly, you said, "Buon natale."
Feli gave you a confused face. Lukas then walked up to you with a present in hand and placed it in your hands. You saw him give you a smile. "God jul," he said.
"Oh min gud! Norge smiled!" Mathias exclaimed.
"Shut it, Dane!" Lukas said and started to walk closer to Mathias.
"W-wait, Nor- AGH!"
"God Jul," Berwald said with his deep voice and stacked another present on top of Lukas'.
"Thanks Ber," you thanked. He nodded at you and sat down on your couch.
"Gleðileg jól," Emil said with a slightly red face and gave you another present.
"Hyvää Joulua!" (Finland)
"Glædelig jul!" (Denmark)
The rest of your friends stack presents among presents and said merry christmas in their own language. When they knew that you couldn't hold anymore, they set it next to you. Heracles was the last person to give you a present. He walked up to you and set a tabby kitten on your shoulder carefully. "Καλά Χριστούγεννα."
"Thanks Heracles," you said with a small smile.
"[Name]," you heard Elizabeta call to you behind you. You set down your presents down by you and turned around to look at your friend. You took the kit carefully in your arms and carried it in your arms.
When you looked up, you saw Eliza looking at you sadly. She then quickly hugged you and you set down the kit just before she suffocated it during the hug. The kitten mewed and sat down beside your feet.
"I'm sorry," Elizabeta apologized. Your eyes widened.
You felt more people hug you. Their weight leaned against you but was light enough for you to stand. "We're here for you, bella."
"I'm here, frau."
"If you want to talk, you could talk to big brother Francis, belle." (Francis is not her actual brother, he said that in a caring way.)
"Your not alone."
You felt yourself tear up as they continued to say caring lines. Alfred was the last to speak, of course. Best for last right? The tears were daring to spill. And they did when Alfred talked.
"We are all your friends [Name]. You could talk to the hero, too."
The tears fell and you sobbed out loud. The hugging dispersed and Ludwig wiped away your tears using his handkerchief he had in his pocket. "You don't need to hold your tears, frau."
"I-I'm sorry!" you cried.
Some where nearby, a blonde man watched from a distance as [Name] cried into her friend's shoulder.
"Good job... We all want you be happy, [Name]. My little sister."
