Blank Meme: [link]

Note: This will be moved to scraps later.

Gen 1 (some of the sprites are from the Japanese version, can you tell which ones?): Kabigon/Snorlax because out of all the Normal types he's the only one that would stand a chance against Machamp; Fushigibana/Venusaur because let's face it, Venusaur was the most awesome out of all the Grass types back then; Lizardon/Charizard because it's the coolest Fire type of that generation; Kamex/Blastiose is giant turtle with cannons that shoot out pressurized water; Butterfree can be taught Psychic and Grass type moves, it learns Confusion upon evolving which was perfect against Brock's Rock types; Pigeot/Pidgeot is the greatest non-legendary Flying type of that generation, it's the only one that learns Sky Attack; Pikachu, I don't think I really have to explain this one; Betbeton/Muk can last throughout a battle; Sandpan/Sandslash, it's not like there were a lot of Ground types to choose from and the Sandslash evolutionary family was the one of the pure Ground types; Sidon/Rhydon was the only Rock Pokemon that could learn Surf, so it's the best one of that generation; Foodin/Alakazam was the greatest non-legendary Psychic Pokemon and is still one of the best; Kairiky/Machamp because four arms are better than two; Gangar/Gengar the only Ghost type evolutionary family, still a good Pokemon though; Laplace/Lapras, the Ice Pokemon you wanted to counter Lance's Dragonites; Kairyu/Dragonite, an aweseme dragon; Mewtwo, one of the best Pokemon of Gen 1, he was the whole reason you kept your Master Ball.

Gen 2 (some sprites are from Gold and some are from Silver, can you tell the difference?): Kirinriki/Girafarig a cool mix of Normal and Psychic; Kireihana/Bellossom because I never really cared a whole lot for Meganium since it's the worst starter, I honestly wanted a Bellossom more; Bakphoon/Typhlosion is an awesome Fire type and it's the best Gen 2 starter; Nuoh/Quagsire because it was the first Water type to be immune to Electric attacks and it goes from a bad Wooper to a Pokemon with nearly double the stats its pre-evolution had; Hassam/Scizor was one of the two reasons why I really wanted a Metal Coat; Togechick/Togetic because I loved pulling Metronome over and over again; Lantern/Lanturn is a water Pokemon that can use Electric attacks, how awesome is that; Crobat was a great Poison Pokemon and finally an evolution of Zubat that can learn Fly; Inomoo/Piloswine because if you couldn't get a Lapras your next best bet would be this guy; Bangiras/Tyranitar, do I even need to say it, Tyranitar is the coolest; Eifie/Espeon because it's a damn good Pyschic type; Kapoerer/Hitmontop, it's pretty much the default here; Muma/Misdreavus, another default; Nyula/Sneasel, ever since I first saw my rival use it I wanted it; Blacky/Umbreon because ever since I first found out about it I wanted it oh so badly; Haganeil/Steelix, the second reason I wanted a Metal Coat; Kingdra is a cool Pokemon, you can't deny it; Celebi, ever since my friend showed me one I wanted it so badly.

Gen 3: Yarukimono/Vigoroth, while Slaking had base stats comparable to certain legendaries he had a fatal flaw, Truant, that's why I like Vigoroth more than him; Tropius, finally a Grass/Flying type that can learn Fly among other Flying moves; Bakuuda/Camerupt, a Fire/Ground type you have to love it; Laglarge/Swampert, my favorite Gen 3 starter and apparently the best one of them; Nukenin/Shedinja's Wonder Guard was an awesome ability; Tekkanin/Ninjask is a freakin' fast Pokemon; Livolt/Manetric was a big help against Wallace (the Champion); Marunoom/Swalot, when my Gulpin evolved into this Muk expy I was like "Whoa, cool"; Flygon is an awesome Dragon and his base stats are close to that of a pseudo-legendary's; Bossgodora/Aggron is a pretty cool-looking Steel type, it looks like a bipedal triceratops; Sirknight/Gardevoir is a good Psychic Pokemon and she was another big help in defeation Wallace; Kinogassa/Breloom, I like this one more than the other Fighting types; Samayouru/Dusclops is a cool-looking Ghost; Todoseruga/Walrein, I like this one more than Glalie; Absol, I love this Dark Pokemon, I thought it was pretty cool-looking; Metagross, I love Steel types, it's one of the reasons why; Bohmander/Salamence is a cool dragon no arguing there; Deoxys, my favorite Gen 3 legendary.

Gen 4(some of these are from Diamond/Pearl can you guess which?): Togekiss, you can teach this one some pretty good moves through the Heart Scale move tutor; Dodaitose/Torterra, what's not to love about him; Booburn/Magmortar, my only other choice was Infernape and Nintendo ruined him for me; Floatsel/Floatzel, the second fastest Water Pokemon, keep him away from Pokemon with a good Special Attack stat though; Megayanma/Yanmega, I love this Pokemon; Glion/Gliscor, this one has a pretty good move pool, he can learn Power Trick through breeding; Rentorar/Luxray is a cool-looking Pokemon; Skutank/Skuntank, finally, a Poison Pokemon immune to Psychic attacks; Mammoo/Mamoswine was a huge help in defeating Lance's Dragonite's in HeartGold; Rampald/Rampardos, a velicoraptor; Erlade/Gallade, I found him a lot cooler than Medicham; Lucario, the fastest Steel type ever; Rotom (or as I call them, Plasmite), it's plasma and I thought it was a pseudo-legendary because this music plays when you encounter it [link] ; Yumimenoko/Frosslass, she's the reason why I wish you could have more than six Pokemon to a team; Manyula/Weavile, it can outrun some pretty fast Pokemon; Emperte/Empoleon, a Water/Steel penguin, how cool is that; Gablias/Garchomp is freakin' awesome; Giratina is basically the gatekeeper of Hell.

Gen 5: Murando/Stoutland, a Yorkshire terrier; Jalorda/Serperior is my current starter and a great Grass Pokemon; Ulgamoth/Volcarona, finally a Bug/Fire type, and it's base stats are incredible; Gamageroge/Seismitoad, this toad can repel Grass types with Sludge Bomb; Dentula/Galvantula, a Bug/Electric spider, how cool is that; Wargle/Braviary, the coolest Flying type in Gen 5; Shibirudon/Eelektross, a giant electric lamprey with Levitate, you have to love it; Pendra/Scolipede, a giant centipede; Waruvial/Krookodile, a Ground/Dark crocodile, you have to love it; Archeos/Archeops, about time there was an archeopteryx Pokemon; Gothiruselle/Gothitelle, a cool-looking Psychic type that has an amazing Defense stat, she has the highest Defense of everyone on my team; Zuruzukin/Scrafty, finally a Fighting type that's immune to Psychic attacks; Goruugu/Golurk, a Ground/Ghost golem/robot; Tsunbear/Beartic, about time they made a polar bear Pokemon; Zoroark, I freakin' love Zoroark, my most favorite Pokemon right next to Tyranitar; Kirikizan/Bisharp, a Dark/Steel, you have to love it; Sazandora/Hydreigon, a Dark/Dragon, :iconhellyeahplz:; Meloetta, I love this little thing.
