The mascot contest is a chance for artists to redesign Banzai's mascots, Ban and Sai, in their own style incorporating the year's theme. 2022 Theme: Supernatural Horror (monsters, ghosts, yokai) Deadlines Round 1: July 31, 2021 1 or 2 winners will be chosen for artwork to be used at this year's con to promote the 2022 convention. Entries not picked this round will go towards the final round. Round 2/Final Deadline: Nov 30, 2021 Any entries received after the deadline will be disqualified. Information on our mascots: Ban – blonde boy with green eyes; optional tanuki (raccoon dog) mask/features. Sai – brunette girl with purple eyes; optional kitsune (fox) mask/features. Both should be aged 16-25. Contest Rules To submit, you must send your artwork, along with your legal first & last name, email, and phone number to MascotContest@animebanzai.org .
