This is something I drew in about ten minuites without too much thought (hence why the image isn't as clean as it used to be) to show off the styles I now use to draw human figures now.

'Type A' is based on the style I had as a child (which some of you Cyber Realm may recognise) but modified as I got better at drawing with simplicity being the main focus (no nose and eyebrows only appearing when needed). This style constantly gets mixed reactions everytime I use it, with some saying it a unique charm that stands out and allows everyone to focus on the expression, whislt others says it looks cheap, childish, and unimaginative, so yeah...a little polarising.

'Type B' is the evolution of my attempts to imatate manga which followed onto the attempts to create my own style, with characerisation and big eyes being the focus. After some experimentation and complex meditation (i.e. me sitting on my bed and thinking really hard), I came to the conclusion that what I really liked about manga was the character expressions and designs, so I set about creating a style that focused on that aspect, with eyes based on Link's from 'The Wind Waker' and character design based on a collection of artists (though mainly Nobuhiro Watsuki) with simplified details ala 'Spectacular Spiderman'.

Neither of these are perfect (Why are hands so bloody hard to draw!?) and I'm always experimenting with these styles, but I like to think they serve of a good example of how far my drawing/design work has come, and it should serve it's purpose for this little challege...
