Long wait

With Wakita's dam retired, and her sire gone, the stallion search for her has been on since her first show as a weanling. As time went on, many stallions were considered but all were dropped due to genetic issues, poor show records or unsafe stallion practices. Oliver was found, but wasn't standing at stud while his owner went through surgery.
Last month, Rachel at VS sent us an email with the subject 'New stallion!'. Once the attachment loaded, our reply was a immediate 'When can he visit Wakita?' Rachel arranged transport to AS for Ollie to wait out his quarantine in our larger barn, and wait for Wakita to come into season.
