Mei Hanaka a bio-engineered inktoling is a shy but intelligent person. She has rarely been in the outside world because she has been in a lab most of her life. Mei's purpose was to fight for the Sanitized army but there was a problem and she grew inkling tentacles. She has recently escape and is now free! She likes to cover her eyes cause something messed her eyes terribly...  Mei lives in her friend's home (Connie Tanaka similar last names .,.) Mei often gets nightmares about how terribly and poorly the Sanitized army treated her. They often called her a "Mistake" or a "Disgrace'.
