Breakfast Girl and the Power to FlyIt didn’t matter that Larua was trapped away from her fairy sisters. It didn’t matter that the shouting mob was thundering closer to her hiding spot in the crevice of a tree. It certainly didn’t matter that she had messed with the strings of fate again (Titania would never find out anyway).
”All that matters is that this isn’t my fucking fault.” The Death Fairy thought to herself.
She dared to peek out of the oaken cranny that had sheltered her for the last fifteen minutes. Her tiny hands curled around the rough bark as she blew her floating hair out of the way.
The entire forest was alive with yellow fire. The fire that men wielded to beat back the darkness, not the real flame that cleansed the forest from time to time. The kind of fire they kept trapped inside tubes and waved around, and looked like the eyes of a predator when shone directly at you.
“I still say they’re doing it wrong.” Larua muttered to herself as she flo

The flakes of white swirled around her, almost compelling her to join them in a sort of dance that nature brought. However, she was never a good dancer.
“It’s nice out here, isn’t it?” Mason said, tugging the scarf up over his nose as he walked alongside her.
“Is that supposed to be sarcastic?” Nevara asked, staring down at the boy.
Mason almost flinched at the statement, looking up at the snow spirit with wide eyes, then shook his head and said, “No.” It took him several moments to realize the intense stare of Nevara would not lessen, and slowly lowered his gaze. He tugged his scarf up to his nose again as he looked over the howling winds and snow covered hills. He lowered his voice, the winds fighting to dissolve his words in their sound, “No….I just… It’s nice to see a snowstorm again.”
“I do not think that’s normal, Mason,” came a reply from Nevara.
He shrugged and fixed his gaze back on

Hours later, when the fire had died down and the shaking in his hands had stopped, Casimir finally continued his search for the next contestant he had to defeat. He had three stars in total from his successes, and Kyuu had made it clear he needed five to get access to Ametsuchi’s main portal and confront her. He asked himself if he was really ready for this- by any means necessary he had to defeat the last of his opponents and Ametsuchi herself. Casimir took a deep breath, and then another, until he had steeled himself for the rest of his journey.
He continued moving through the zone, weaving his way through the raised wooden paths and strangely coloured buildings. Butterflies flitted past him in disorganized swoops and he batted them out of his way with the back of his hand. One drifted sadly to the ground. Cas set his shoulders, and

A Happy Ending
The air is chilly, brushing by with gentle strokes. It is salty, in both smell and taste, a hint of green tea tints the calm breeze. It wafts with the smooth flow of the steam trailing from two mugs. The sky was a grand mixture of oranges, violets, and dark blues. The Sun was setting. Slowly allowing itself to be engulfed by the rising darkness of the sea.
The two sat atop the lighthouse, at the very center of a small green island, lying off the very horizon of a massive glowing city in the distance. The ocean released tired waves that crashed onto the shore with placid resolve.
They were wrapped in a long blanket, the only barrier afforded to them to battle the gentle kiss of cold. They slowly pulled mugs to their mouths, indulging the flavors of their warm drinks. Their feat gently swung over the edge of the gated catwalk that ringed around the lighthouse’s upper echelon. Mimi nuzzled her head into her right arm which rested on the lower bar, it was the arm close

Allen is generally a shy kid. Even though he does quite a bit of talking in this tournament, his speech is broken by the occasional stammer. His voice becomes more wobbly the more nervous/panicked he is. He tries to maintain his composure in regular conversation, and is often very polite. He does have sudden bouts of confidence, though they are rare.
- (Nervous) “Uh, n-no, that’s okay. I’ll stay over here where it’s safe…er.”
- (Confused) “I still don’t understand how these stars work…what do you mean, ‘they just magica
