Raffle Removed UPDATEDORIGINAL: As some of you might have noticed by now that my raffle journal has been removed, not by my choice. The deviantart staff removed by raffle due to a policy violation. Personally I am furious about this removal because how come my raffle gets removed while I see tons of other raffles all over deviantart that don't get removed. So apparently giveaways and raffles and contests can't contain points or any currency as a prize.. All it really mentions are lotteries but I guess giveaways, raffles and contests fall into the same category...

Because it can be illegal? I guess.... I don't know I just thought many of you should know... Because really I don't want y'all getting in trouble. In my eyes, I feel like contests shouldn't be an issue, because they are contests you are doing something to win, not just picking a number.... And to me you're not giving points to any of the three things because it's really not gambling in a since... To enter you're not putting points in to it... You share it around for the most part.. Or make art for it or whatever.. To me it's dumb, but just if you're doing them keep them out of like the forums o-o
