Ba'aru - Oh no -DotW

She decided to run with the others to get the antler, she thought her speed would help with this event. Yasu is agile and quick on her paws. But it was all stopped rather quickly when she saw the river ahead as her teammates worked their way across the river, she stopped just on the edge frozen. Her eyes widened and she stared at the river the way it splashed on the rocks. She took a step back in horror. If someone mentioned the river it must have slipped past her ears. She wasn't prepared to face her fear of the water. All the she-wolf could do is stare at the river as her team and the opposing team crossed the river around her. Eventually the female would break free from her trance when she would hear her team had won, and for a moment she would forget she was scared of the river as she would run to her team in celebration.

This was really fun to draw! And I didn't know if I was gonna do a piece or not since two people have added Yasu into their pieces~ But I felt this is how Yasu would have reacted to the river. Because she would have enjoyed this game but having to cross the water did nothing but put fear into her and all she could do there was stand frozen. I would say if any Xassa wolf went to her aid to help or anything she would most likely refuse to not hold anyone back from the game. I did ponder on the idea of doing a piece of someone helping her cross the water. But her fear of water is still very fresh for her. I plan to eventually have her face her fear and maybe overcome some of it. But for now her symptoms of her PTSD around water and storms will be strong~
