Yeah. Are you familiar with Rush?
This is to anyone else, they're an 80s rock band from Canada, probably most notable for Tom Sawyer and Red Barchetta. And YYZ just because of the dum solo by Neil Peart, hands down the most talented drummer in history.
But they released Clockwork Angels, and it's a concept album, meaning it tells a story.
And it is really good, and I'm hoping the novelization, written by a friend of Neil Peart's, Kevin Anderson, he's a famous sci-fi writer (though I never heard of him and I read a lot.)
The story is about, from the brief shreds I've been able to gather, about a guy who starts dabbling in alchemy and steampunk and then goes on some sort of journey.
Actually, Here's a summary according to a quote used on Wikipedia: In a young man's quest to follow his dreams, he is caught between the grandiose forces of order and chaos. He travels across a lavish and colorful world of steampunk and alchemy, with lost cities, pirates, anarchists, exotic carnivals, and a rigid Watchmaker who imposes precision on every aspect of daily life.
That was a quote from Anderson about the album's story.
