I can hardly believe how quickly time has slipped away in recent years. It seems there are not enough hours in a day and that everything must be completed in half the time that it did not so long ago.
I never expected to be gone so long and have continued my work here and there, but not with the gusto that I once enjoyed. I have only recently learned that during this time, I sold my first piece of art and was offered options to have my work showcased in a couple of amazing places.
Many personal and professional responsibilities have kept me far from the creativity that I so dearly love and although there has been a wealth of inspiration, there has been little opportunity. I have often felt that somewhere along this path, the road to survival became a constant detour and I have lost my way.
Before I leave this Earth, I'd like to spend a good slice of time communing with nature and creating the beauty that I so enjoy sharing with the world. I only hope that once again there will be opportunity.
In this time of great change, change is the only certainty. How we choose to meet these changes in coming days, may define the outcome, so meet them with all of the love in your heart.
