Currently based out of Atlanta, Georgia, I'm an Army brat who grew up with a love for the strange and unusual. The work of fairy tale illustrator, Trina Schart Hyman, inspired me at a young age to pursue illustration.

I draw inspiration from many sources, including surrealism and imaginative realism. Some of my favorite artists include Jason Chan, James Jean, and John Jude Palencar. I also take much inspiration from the comic art and stories of David Mack, Joseph Michael Linsner, and Neil Gaiman.

My past clients have included Disney, Impact Books, and self-published authors.

Thank you!  I started selling years ago after I had some inquiries online about my art.  Most people were requesting prints.  I cut my teeth in selling in person at anime conventions where I used to sell my early fan art and other works.  I sometimes wish I had waited till I had more of a brand identity like I do now, but I did get a lot of good experience just putting myself out there at the cheaper smaller events!

Pretty much just keep making quality work is number one priority.  Then figure out where your target audience is.  IE.  Fan art does really well here on DA and Reddit, then you have the more thematic groups to share other kinds of work.  A lot of my audience for the Fantasy genre is over on FB in interest groups.  It also just takes awhile to really establish yourself and spread your name, but persistence and patience pay off!  I also do pay for ads from time to time on FB to help give my work a boost, but that's something better saved for when you're a little more established and have a solid product line so you're making the best of your investment.
