"Song of Exile" 11x14 in. Watercolor and Color Pencils.

My very 1st time lapse! This was an experiment to teach myself how to use my video editor to compile my walkthrough images. There'll definitely be more to come!

Music by Kevin MacLeod :pointr: [link]

It's been a long time since I made this piece, but it took quite a few evenings, especially for the color pencil passes which call for many tedious layers and detailing!

wow i can imagine. well it turned out wonderfully, i love the idea itself as well! those wolf spirits really make the piece and add character, and a sense of mysterious power

Thanks! I hope once I get more time, I might be able to set some of the character design steps to music or narration like this. Could be a fun way to introduce people to characters.

You know..in that perfect world where I have time to do all that. xD

I'm on firefox - "normal quality" didn't work for me, but the divx player did.

I like that you zoomed in a little in your progress shots - I have a new appreciation for the detail in that piece. :D Which is a gorgeous piece to begin with, hehe.

How odd that it's not working on Normal today when it was after I first put it up. *prods DA* Glad the other version works, at least!

Yes I fear I panned perhaps a little too often over that manchest, but damn am I proud of that particular part XD Glad you enjoyed this! I learned so much about motion paths in my video editor after this undertaking.

Hmm try reloading the page or downloading it directly? I use Chrome and I notice it's rather sluggish about loading for me. If you use Mozilla Firefox or refresh the page, it loads just fine.
