It's been a long while since I uploaded any of my own characters here. Time to remedy that!
Ramah seems to have many faces the more I unravel the story of his character and travels. Some of you might remember him like this from my very rough short story, Mark of Cahim.
He left his kingdom with just the clothes on his back, a disguise he had donned to cover his royal heritage. Little did he understand at that point in time that the guise of a wandering clanless would become his identity. I imagine over his time in the desert he appropriates the culture of the nomadic people and travelers he comes across to repair his own degrading wardrobe.
When I have the time, I'll do a proper concept sheet to explore this garb further. I just needed a quick doodle to get to know him better in this less polished identity for my next painting. I sketched this with the smeary square default brush in Photoshop, which I've realized is AWESOME for painterly sketching!

I agree, the outfit is boss. Dark and smouldering. The boots, the sash and the arms? Awesome job.
