Horny Orange by angelacapel Horny Orange by angelacapel
We re-modeled the kitchen and dining room recently. We painted the dining room orange, just like Monster and Momo's hornys.

I find that I like it more and more every day. Orange is such an interesting colour to decorate with!

An orange dining room? That's interesting (and by interesting I mean off-beat and adventuresome). Is it actually as orange as it appears to be in that photo, or more of a sherbet or melon color?

I don't remember the colour's name... it's really quite orange though!

I guess it will just have to remain "horny orange" then.

Hey, I read your "Torsal Tunnel Syndrome" journal just now (I'm really behind on reading/replying to all the schtuff in my inbox) and I have two things to say: 1) Wow, sorry to hear that you had all of that weird stuff going on, but I'm glad that you've gotten some definitive diagnoses; that has to be a relief. 2) I have Raynaud's too!

You're the first person I've come across who also suffers from it. Doesn't it SUCK?!?! Do you get cold, patchy, waxy-looking fingers? I've suffered from it for years, but I just figured out what it was a couple years ago. I'm going to post two pics in my scraps and you can tell me if it looks anything like what happens to you.

I'm learning to deal with the Tarsal Tunnel (it's actually tarsal, not torsal like I wrote before). I also have something wrong with my other foot. My left one has Heelspurs and my right has Tarsal Tunnel. They injected me in both areas and my heelspur feels 80% better now! :) The TTS, on the other hand, doesn't really respond to cortizone... but orthotic insoles help some. It's just something I'll have to learn to cope with. Do, I can't play sports or lift heavy things, or run or go to the mall for hours on end and walk... It's kind of intimidating.

And I saw the pics of your Reynaud's. It actually looks worse than mine! Mine must be more mild. I do get white when you press on me, and very pink once i warm back up, but for the most part when I have an attack I'm mostly just a bit purple and swollen. The swollen bit is the worst bit, cause it causes painful itching that feels likes it's comeing from the inside out. For me it takes days for the swelling to go down, which doesn't seem like any reynaud's i'd heard about (but what do i know?). I don't get it in a patchy way, but sometimes it happens in the tip and other times in the top finger joint, and it happens randomly sometimes three fingers in a row, sometimes just one... whatever it happens to have in mind that day, I guess.

Do you have any other illness to go with your Reynaud's? I've got a feeling that since I started with arthritis, then got TTS, then progressed to Reynaud's that maybe I have an autoimmune disease. I get another blood test soon, so maybe this time it will show up with something resolute. I can deal with an autoimmune disease if I've got one... I just want to know if I've got one or not since I keep getting more and more weird symptomes of something.
