            With the water in the pool draining by the second, the devices on her side quickly shut down as the female move her left hand to the mask on her face.  Yanking it over her head, the female toss it against the device and rise onto her feet with a few more droplets of water dropping off of her flesh to the draining water below her.  She remain completely still with her attention still on the doors across from her with her arms at her side and her demeanor remaining calm.

            “How was your bath Viper?”  A distorted male voice calls out from all around her person.  “A bit cold but otherwise okay.  Didn’t think I be submerged for a straight hour…I thought the process only took half the time.”  Viper replies calmly.  “Sorry about that.  We had to make sure all of the nanomachines synced into your body properly.  The mission we have for you will be something else and we have to make sure everything is perfect.”  The voice continues.

            “Funny…I never thought you’d be into perfection Reign.”  Viper continues stepping towards the edge of the pool before the entrance.  “I have my moments Viper.  It would do you some good to lighten up when you can.”  Reign respond, but gain nothing from Viper with her standing at the edge of the pool, but didn’t step out of it.  “Got it.  Business first.”  Reign express as the floor before the tub open up.

            Slowly, a monitor of rectangular form rise from the opening in the floor then stops directly before Viper’s face.  The monitor turn on with a green 3D image of Viper’s nude body begin to rotate counterclockwise before her gaze with various lines coming out from her person.  Different bits of information begin to form with Viper skimming through them each carefully.

            “The nanomachines that have been infused into your body will help you during this exercise.  They will monitor your blood flow, adrenaline levels, heart rate, muscle functions, and provide certain levels of regeneration when needed.  Remember, the nanomachines won’t make you invincible.  They’re purpose is to keep you as level headed as possible and allow the best function for all of your bodily functions and abilities.”  Reign explains.

            “They will also allow you to personally coat any and all weapons that you secure on this exercise.”  Reign further explains.  “So…I’m going in naked.”  Viper adds calmly still skimming all the information before her.  “Not as naked as you are now, but you get the gist of it.”  Reign replies quickly.  “Get out of that room and head into the next.  All of your available gear and field clothing is waiting for you.”  Reign further explains.

            The monitor turns off and drops into the floor quickly with the floor covering up.  She step out from the tub with her right leg first then her left only to advance slowly forward.  The moment she reach the double doors, they open up on their own revealing another sterile clean room lined with various steel fenced lockers of various weaponry and clothing.

            To her far left, one of the lockets open it as it was of the tall variety with Viper slowly approaches it.  “The underbody suit will help protect you against hyperthermia and ignore various parts of the elements like rain, sleet, snow, and ice.  Aside from weather resistance it won’t hinder any form of mobility and can be removed with ease from the front if need be.  It will also retain your body heat without you getting uncomfortable or too hot.  Don’t lose it.  The micro fibers of this thing cost a lot to make.”  Reign chaste her, but Viper paid him no mind.

            She reaches into the locker and stares at the black body suit with a blank stare only to pull it apart revealing it to seamlessly open and close with ease.  She begins to place it on her naked frame despite the droplets of water still on her person until it cling close to her frame.  “We’ve also provided you with an outer set of clothing that will further help you in the elements.  I don’t have to go into much, but it also acts as a minor bulletproof shield.  I’m sorry Viper, but it doesn’t cover your feet or above your neck and it’s can only resist basic handgun bullets to a certain degree.”  Reign explains further.

            Viper stares from top to bottom at the hanging set of clothing before her gaze with her arms at her side.  From the top was a large jacket and pants that seem to act as one piece of clothing before her.  A pair of state of the art combat boots, sock, and gloves hanging among the walls of the locker that she took in closely.  To her right was a thick belt with four carrying compartments that remain shut.

            “In the front compartment on your belt is your radar system that works with your nanomachines.  They will sync up with your nanomachines the moment you place on your clothing so don’t lose it.  I’ll explain once you get dressed.”  Reign explains.  Viper reaches into the locker and pulls out everything before her.  In a matter of seconds, Viper was fully dressed from head to toe with her pulling tight on her right glove with her already gloved left hand.

            Once finished, Viper turns her attention back into the locker with a single piece of clothing remaining within.  She stares close at a hanging long headband of dark blue coloring.  She reaches in with her right hand and pulls it out; staring at it closely.  “Um…is something wrong Viper…You’re staring at that headband again.”  Reign express in a calm manner.

            “It’s nothing…”  Viper replies then with both of her hands, places the headband on her head and tied it tightly.  She move her right hand to her face and shift her hair out of her face to reveal all of her beautiful yet strong face.  “And there’s the Viper we all know.”  Reign express as Viper shut the locker on her own then advance further down the locker room.

            She reaches the other side of the room quickly with another set of double doors opening up on it own.  Viper steps through them calmly with her arms moving slightly at her sides with no emotion on her face.  She steps further down a dark corridor with only a small amount of light illuminating from the ground along both of her sides.  Viper pass through another set of already open double doors in the same pace until she advances into a large dark room.

            “Stop Viper.”  Reign call out with Viper stopping completely.  She shut her eyes despite the darkness around her.  Suddenly, the room lit up with various holographic soldiers moving around the room armed with the latest forms of assault rifles.  Each of them was faceless as each of them were carefully observing their surrounds or at times interacting with each other as if they were people.

            “Now, allow me to explain how your sonar works.”  Reign explains.  “Or rather allow me to introduce your field guide.  She’s a new recruit so please be patient with her.  Go ahead Wave.”  Reign further explains.  “Nice to meet you, Viper.  I’m sorry that I’m not up to your standards and…”  Viper lifts her right hand up to calm her down with her eyes shut; cutting off the timid almost mousy tone of the young female.

            “Relax miss…you sound fresh out of any military academy.  It’s okay.  You don’t have to put up a front.  Just calm your mind, breathe, and perform your duties.”  Viper explains.  “Thank you!”  Wave sighs out.  “I can’t believe someone like you would offer advice to a newbie like me!”  Wave express happily with a small giggle.  “Cute…”  Viper thought while lowering her arm to her side.

            “Now, I need you to reach into your front compartment please.”  Wave continues with Viper on instinct reach into the compartment on her right.  She pulls out a single small rectangle as she examines it with minor curiosity in her face.  She shifts her head from side to side slightly with Wave giggle all around her.  “Sorry about that.  It’s cute seeing you like this.  I want you to open that and place the nano-receiver into either of your ears please.”  Wave continues.

            Viper comply as she open it with ease and pull out a small ear square black chip with her left fingers.  Moving the chip to her ear, she place it the upper part of her ear with the chip changing to Viper’s skin tone.  “Can you hear me okay?”  Wave asks with Viper blinking in further surprise.  “High frequency sound and…”  “And digital visuals.  Correct.  I guess that too much isn’t needed to be explained.”  Wave cut in on Viper’s words.

            Suddenly a 3D screen appear before her of transparent form with the image of a young woman with cute facial features, short black hair that curved at the bottom, a white collared button up blouse with the top button of her blouse undone, and a pair of red frame glasses on her face.  She had cute eyes and small lips with the light skinned female giggling within a war room with various computer devices around her.

            “Nice to see you Viper.”  Wave express happily with Viper nodding to her slightly.  “Your radar system, audio devices, and visual system are all part of a new system called Alpha Trinity.  These work in combination with your nanomachines, nature senses, and the nanomachines in other living creatures and machines.”  Wave explains calmly.  “That explains the Trinity part.”  Viper adds in.

            “Right.  But please remember you can be jammed by a strong enough frequency or it can be hacked by a smart enough hacker so be careful.  The black container that held onto your nano-receiver also acts as an anti jamming device, but its low grade so be careful with it.  Now I’ll quickly go over how your radar and visual systems work.  Will you please go into the battle field?”  Wave explains further.

            Viper complies as she advances forward towards the moving holographic soldiers.  The screen before Viper’s gaze quickly shrinks and shifts to the front of her right eye with various triangles before her with a blue circle in the middle.  “The circle in the center represents you Viper and the triangles are the holograms that surround you.  The triangles in the field can represent anything from other soldiers to machines as long as they have nanomachines in them.  Your systems will only pick up on people and objects with nanomachines so if someone or something doesn’t have them they’ll appear invisible to you.  You’ll have to rely on your own observation abilities at that point.”  Wave explains with Viper closely watching the holograms moving around her person rather than looking at her rather.

            “Understood.  I doubt I’ll be using this so often, but I’ll make sure to use it when I can.”  Viper express calmly.  “The 3D screen that appear before will keep you in contact with anyone using the same system or similar.  Myself and Reign have them so if you need to contact us for any reason don’t hesitate.  Other can’t see or hear us when we speak so don’t worry.  The system allows you a few unique abilities as well.”  Wave continues in her explanation.

             “Go on.”  Viper express in turn.  “The system along with your nanomachines allows you to hack into various devices along with weapons and system locks of various nanomachine operated devices.”  Wave explains with Viper nodding in approval.  “The nanomachines work with your own natural sodium and the electric current that all living things produce.  You have to hack everything manual so that anything you wish to do will do it for you so don’t forget that.”  Wave explains further.

            “Do you want to train here for a bit Viper or…”  “No…”  Viper cut in on Reign’s words.  “I rather get this mission underway if that’s alright with both of you.  Don’t worry…I’m more than ready.”  Viper continues with her eyes shut knowingly.  She clenches her fists tightly with the holograms around her vanishing and the lights in the room turning off; cloaking her in darkness.  “What will be the form of departure for this mission?”  Viper asks within the darkness.  “…Ground infiltration…”  Reign answers calmly.

            “Departure time?”  Viper continues in the darkness.  “Midnight.  You’ll have to get ready quickly I’m afraid.”  Reign adds in with Viper keeping calm.  “Time to go back into the field once more…”  She thought to herself with her footsteps echoing through the room.  She moves to the double doors she passes through as they open up once more allowing her to leave.

Six Hours Later…

            Deep within a jungle environment with the air thick, heavy, and muggy, numerous trucks, tanks, and jeeps were traversing a dirt road leading to a large compound that span a great deal among the lands was in the distance from the traveling vehicles.  Among them, Viper remain hidden under a large tank with a head mask keeping her identity hidden as she breathe calmly and cling onto the parts of the trucks under exterior.

            “I’m well aware you’ve already infiltrated the unit in question so I’ll keep this as brief as I can Viper.”  Reign explain within Viper’s inner ears as she remain calm.  “The leader of this faction is unknown, but we have intel that explains they command six different operatives each with a specialized field of combat and skills.  You’ll have to either incapacitate them or eliminate them.  Whichever is best for the situation to you.  As you already know you’ll have to acquire your own weaponry on this exercise along with food since we had your stomach pumped before you were let go.”  Reign explains.

            “Also please remember Viper that if you are captured we will not be able to commutate with you and if you are killed for any reason the nanomachines that flow within you will destroy themselves and erase all traces of your existence.  Do keep that in mind.”  Wave explains in Reign’s place.  “Your overall objective is to gain as much information as possible about this operation, those involved, and anything vital to our organization.  You will be paid in full once this mission is over.  All you have to do is use the Alpha Trinity system on anything you think might be useful and I’ll handle the rest.”  Wave further explains.

            “We’re cutting off transmissions for now Viper.  Contact us as soon you find somewhere safe for yourself to do so.  Once you have we’ll further brief you on any change in development and offer as much support as possible.  This goes without saying Viper, but good luck and come back to us alive.  There aren’t too many soldiers out there like you and we don’t want to lose you.”  Reign explains with the transmission ending.

            Viper shut her eyes and continues to hold onto the parts of the truck as it further its advance.  “You don’t have to tell me that Reign…I will be coming back to see your face again…you still owe me a meal…”  She thought with the truck coming to a halt.  She remains perfectly still as the truck slowly move inside of the compound with the others vehicles with Viper opening her gaze slightly…
