This is going to be a very dissimilar similar story. We all read what happened to the "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" reboot. I'm the first to admit, I don't know the full story. What happened, what went wrong other than what was made available. Should have been a slam dunk. It's possible the "Woke" "Message" types wanted to many changes to update the story for what they consider "Contemporary or modern times" From what I read, the chosen director did what was called "Drive by directing" and at least one of the producers had about as much familiarity and cared for the show as much as Im considered a excellent writer who loves high Paris music and fashions, needless to say, those last two don't involve me, not in the least. I'm not involve with Hollywood or "Woke/Messagewood" at all, I'm here only and I did really enjoy the show. I'm going to have a "Go" at it, this could be considered one of my many adventures in a "Alternative Timeline" in a "Parallel Universe" type thing, at least at this point, it's not really connected to the "Prime Jeannieverse". At least, not at this point. It will be inhabited by many very familiar faces, I will be bringing some real life folks who have real life connections to those involved. It may be relatively short, may be long, haven't decided, already have the final, it may take awhile to get there. It's written as if it's being seen on a screen or my demented version of a television screen. I humbly present

Cold opening" a golden hue, a box grows larger, the final scene from the original show played out, the screen goes blank.
A single line says reads 23 years later, the screen goes blank once more. A slow paced version of the chorus from the original show played on a bass oboe and a double bass cello is heard in the blank screen continued, slowly the sounds of rain drops can be heard, as the song slowly fades the screen slowly brightens, a downward look at a few opened umbrellas. As this is seen, the casts names are seen,

A close up of Buffy's face in absolute agony, tears falling, the view pans down showing a tombstone show a image of Alexander Lavelle Harris, the view pans up and to the left showing a matching slightly older tombstone of Dawn Summers complete with a beautiful image. The voice of Buffy's doughter 14 years old doughter Buff Anne Summers-Prince as she says in a crokeing tone, "Mom, this hurts, I know it hurts, to many, to soon, Dawn and Xander would not like having you this messed up." Anne covered her lower abdomen, continued in a softer more assertive tone, "Mom, their here, you know they are here, Uncle Angel and Uncle Spike, they can't see us like this." Buffy exhales softly, brushing a way a tear, looks at her husband Freddie (Fred) Prince Jr, Fred head gestures towards a nearby stand of trees, say in a clipped measured tone, "The have been here all along, Channie spotted then, made contact, if it's ok, they want to express their condolences." Buffy exhales softly, sees how gloomy things are, looks at Anne, says in a small voice, "They paid for everything, they are part of my past, Dawn and Xander" Buffy's nods, looks at Anne, raised a slightly mischievous eyebrow, Anne chuckled, making a sideways movement towards the woods, Willow is standing next to her husband Alexis (Alex) nods towards Anne, Alex chuckles softly, says in a whispered tone, "Healing, Healing." T.B.C.
