It sounded like a giant dumpster tumbled over.
I sat out of bed, and walked to the window. I pierced through the blinds, looking down to the street below. A young kid stepped out of his now crippled red Mercedes. Evidently, he had been speeding. Pressing on the breaks, though he tried, was not enough to prevent this crash. The victim, maybe around 60 years of age, seemed rather disturbed, waddling her heavy hips to the front of her Honda, inspecting the damage.

Hey guys, taking some time to share a few things with you. I'll try to keep it short. My 1st announcement: I have a new job! :clap: After a rigorous year of interning, I'll be starting my first day of work tomorrow as an x-ray tech! 2018 is shaping up to be such a year of change for me. I've also just been accepted to university, which is so crazy. Of course, I have been trying to make the most of the summer. As some of you may have noticed, I have been so motivated with my art lately.
