It is a massive garden and it really is beautiful and serene

Oooh, I really love this one. Great perspective! You can see all the nice little details from so many spots. It makes you wonder how they plan designing bigger gardens.

I too wonder how it is done.  The biggest Japanese garden is in Japan - Kanazawa.  It looks like it came out of the ground.  The garden in this photo, although beautiful, is too well planned and looks artificial.

I bet it's amazing! It would be nice to visit the Japanese gardens one day. For now at least I can go to the botanical garden in Albuquerque where they have a small Japanese garden. It's pretty nice!

:iconthankuplz: on  Japanese Garden. Walking through these gardens washes a person's troubles away.  It is difficult to be thinking of the things which bother us simply because the beauty of this place washes the soul.
Very nice photo. It looks like it was taken in the Japanese garden
at the water reclamation center in Balboa Park in Van Nuys, Calif.
