Description
We were told it was only a 2 hour trip from Marree to William Creek along the Oodnadatta Track. However 2 hours into the trip we had only travelled 80 of the 200km and the travelling was really rough. The sun was close to setting and we had had enough.
Then off in the distance we spotted the glistening of Lake Eyre South, we headed off the main track and headed in that direction. We finally reached the shore stepped out of the car and witnessed the sun going down over the lake. INCREDIBLE!
The foot prints are from my 2 mates and if you look carefully on the horizon on the right side you may be able to see the silhouettes of them. They are tiny! More to come of the hour or so that we spent on this incredible landscape.
This was a 3 shot vertical panaroma using my brand new HiTech Reverse Grad. Crop, Clarity, Contrast and Vibrance in LR3
This taken about 5mins prior.
