Took this on the rock shelf at Blackhead in Gerroa on the northern end of Seven Mile Beach. It was a 20 second exposure and towards the end of the 20 seconds a very large wave formed up and I had only a second or two to sprint for cover.

Anyway, this is one of my favourite spots. The hill the sun is going down behind is called Mount Coolangatta and my house is at the foot of it (to the left) so in this photo I'm looking directly at my house.

Gorgeous shot! I can't wait for my tripod and remote to arrive, so I can try something like this! :D

I used the 10 second timer on this one. Lined the shot up and then ran over to the edge of the rocks and stood still for 10 seconds. :)
