Your pencils are so strong, while I am in love with color, the original art bangs so hard that this seems like a muzak version by comparison. The warmth of the red sun seems to rob this version of the raw energy that the pencils create.

I generally like the B&W pencils/inks better too and it's my strength.  Color adds a different feel.
The pencil version will be included in my next artbook/sketchbook:)

I want that same strength with my colors as I get with my black & white work as well. It definitely is a balancing act to capture the feelings from b&w compared to color imagery.
