When I was in high school my best friend introduced me to comic-books. Not your regular Batman or Superman or anything but rather Chaos Comics. Characters like Lady Death and Purgatori. Busty BAMF Babes in skimpy costumes. I used to save up my lunch money every week to buy them. All my life I always loved to draw and write stories to go along with them. When I saw those characters and that art, I knew what I wanted to draw so I studied things like that and Vargas and Boris Vallejo and Olivia De Berardinis, and Anime as well, also all introduced to me by my best friend. Eventually after a couple of years of trying to draw their characters and copying their poses and things I was able to draw my own characters and poses without having to have a model. I've been drawing ever since then, mostly women. Everything starts out with 1 mechanical pencil. And funny enough, it's the very same blue mechanical pencil that I started drawing with way back when I started learning to draw. Some things have been lined with ink, some things remain only pencil sketches, and some things have been colored digitally. I've branched off into doing some graphic design, Flash, and fashion design and I sculpt as well (OctopusStew on Etsy). I have a love for all things creative and beautiful. I love the Sea, nature and science, studying ancient cultures and mythology, I'm passionate, a bit dark, and I have an interesting sense of humor all of which I try to incorporate into my work.
