Rarity Day 2020

Fashion Week's returned, and so today we celebrate Equestria's greatest fashionista, our fabulous squiggle tailed fashion mare, as well as the Teacher of Generosity and member of the Council of Friendship, Rarity!    Ever since the start of the show, she has always been the most beautiful Unicorn you've ever seen, and with a heart even more beautiful than the purest gold or the most radiant diamond. As the best fashion desinger, she owned the Carousel Boutique in Ponyville, amd eventually built a massive chain throughout all of Equestria, from Canterlot Boutique to Manehattan's Rarity For You, and in time, she would open more boutiques throughout the world, such as one in Yakyakistan. With an eye for detail, a love for glamour, an unmatched talent in fashion and creativity, a magical ability to locate gems, and an incredible sense of imagination for new creations, Rarity would bring an air of sophistication and beauty to Equestria's fashion scene. She'll create any garments that chic, unique and magnifique!  Even after Twilight Sparkle became the new ruler of Equestria, Rarity continues to spread beauty and generosity throughout all the My Little Pony World, and has become one of the members of Twilight's Council of Friendship to boot. What an esteemed honor.

We all knew that Rarity could act like a prissy, entitled diva or drama queen, and, sad as it is, she is not the most popular pony in the Brony fandom (as well as the Journal of Friendship fandom), but that was never going to change the way I feel about her. And she doesn't deserve the same treatment she suffered in "Fame and Misfortune."  We all know that she was very kind, sweet, giving and perhaps the most generous pony ever. She went out of her way to make her very best friends as beautiful on the outside as she knew they were on the inside, and she always shone brightest when she helped them. She would always see the beauty in things and want to make everypony and everything beautiful, just as her inspiration, the legendary Mistmane brought beauty wherever she went. While not every Brony's favorite Mane 6 mare, she is among my most favorite ponies ever. It's not because she is immaculately beautiful (although you got to admit, she's a angel sent from heaven), but it's because I relate to her. I'm not a fashion designer, but, as an artist and a perfectionist, I relate to her greatly. I'm pretty sure like all us artists, she goes through such stress in crafting her flawless creations. It may be fashion designs, but it's still creativity and artistry. So Rarity is an artist. A pony who I can relate to perfectly. Not to mention, for some strange reason, no matter what happens to her appearance, she is still beautiful. Whether her mane and tail get wet, fall off due to a mix up, or if she goes all "plain," she is just so mesmerizingly beautiful. I can see why Spike was always nuts about her.  Plus, she is one of the sweetest and dearest ponies ever. Overall, Rarity is a gem. I would love nothing more than to get a hug from her... and maybe help me with some tips on fashion and creativity, and what my ideal hairstyle is. I will always love and appreciate Rarity no matter what happens, she deserves it.  

As always, this year's theme is future based. I had some struggles (especially due to my Vulture Awareness Day problem), but I think this will do nicely, or "fabulously" as Rarity would put it. If you can't see it pass the glitter texture, Rarity's on the same stage where she showed off her gala dresses for her and her friends to Hoity Toity in the season 1 episode "Suited for Success." Something from the past to bring into the future. I must admit, even as a middle-age mare, she's still got it. I struggled with the greeting, but I think it turned out the way I wanted it to. 

All I can say is that I did try my best. All in all, I hope you love it, but not as much as we love fabulous Rarity. Even now that our beloved show is over, she will always warm our hearts with her generosity, her beautiful talent for fashion, her silly moments of her drama, and for being a true friend through and through. Thank you for being our fabulous filly, Rarity, and we will always love you.
