A Legend of the Before People, of Elahu, the Chosen of Atelani
Elahu was irritated with Ala’s childish behavior, yet he was nevertheless relieved to see her return to the group alongside Kataku. He was even more relieved to see that his sister appeared to be in better spirits.
Whatever Kataku may have been as a warrior of the Twins, it was clear that he possessed a peace-bringing tongue. Elahu sent silent thanks both to him and to the gods.
To Elahu’s surprise, Kataku raised his hands in formal submission before Atelani. She was their chief, but this was still an extraordinary display. Atelani’s eyes widened; she too was surprised. With a gesture, she motioned the buck to speak.
“Atelani,” he said, “the place of my clan, Elakati Village, is not far from Ti Anaki. The village is one of the Arateiki, a vassal under the Twins’ protection. Their warriors and shamans do not often go there. If I am to accompany Kohu and Elahu, then perhaps Ala could come with us to meet my family? We could be mated then. And all of us would be safer there than in Ti Anaki.”
Elahu felt his mouth drop open. He did not like the idea of Ala going anywhere near Ti Anaki, but Kataku’s suggestion had merit. Elahu wanted to see his sister happily mated and he knew that Kataku would make the best of brothers.
“It is a good plan,” Atelani replied, “but what of your leaving the warrior’s path?” Atelani asked. “Will there be no questions?”
“There would be questions in Orokila, and perhaps in Ti Anaki, but my kin will understand. I do not know how long we can stay in Elakati, but at least we could be properly mated. And Elahu will be in a safe place while he seeks his missing soul-part.”
Elahu nodded unconsciously. Whether they could stay in Elakati forever or for only a few days, he would finally have a home once his sister joined Kataku’s clan. It was only symbolic, but Elahu found that the idea brought him great comfort.
“It seems Elahu approves,” Atelani remarked. “So, we have three children and an old buck going to Elakati Village. None of you can cook for yourselves, so I will go too.”
Elahu smiled. It occurred to him that he had not done so in quite some time.

Still all of the 'actors' got great things to manage, plans to make their future, realize dreams, or fulfill desires. The communication between the people has to be quite broad, I mean they like to talk about just every of course meaningful affair and they always come to a satisfying decision. Let them have the journey to the new lands!
